O-Funk Productions is a San Diego based home recording studio built around vintage equipment, analog keyboards, and vacuum tube oscilloscopes. We create, record, mix and master your music, shoot a visualizer video to match, and put our featured artists in front of new ears. Whether you need full-service production, some extra keys, o-scope visuals, or finishing touches, we get your tracks out there sounding fresh!

Who we are

O-Funk Productions was founded in 2026 by Alistair Wilson, a native Californian who grew up in a musical family, was classically trained from an early age, and has never stopped his musical exploration. He started recording on a 4-track with a Roland HS60 + TR707 at 12, studied audio engineering in high school, and played keys in funk/fusion bands throughout the 90’s and early 00’s.

Since then, Alistair has focused on collaborations with his brother Julian Temple and Walter Davis (among others) as well as solo releases under the name Al Stereo. As a producer, he has over 25 years experience developing his ears and techniques. As a musician, Alistair is a keyboardist, beat maker, and sound designer. His influences are eclectic but his mission is simple: open the mind, move the body, heal the spirit, and keep the funk alive.
